For over 180 years, the Belmont General Store has served as a central hub for the village of Belmont and the surrounding town of Mount Holly, Vermont. Located just minutes from Okemo Mountain Resort, we offer a curated selection of local Vermont products, fresh deli fare, and craft beverages.

Provisions and Groceries

The store maintains a curated selection of local Vermont-sourced products alongside essential household groceries. Notable regional offerings include:

  • Bread: Loaves from nearby producers Orchard Hill and Earth Sky Farm.

  • Dairy: Fresh milk and dairy products delivered from Monument Milk.

  • Local Specialties: Joe’s Soup, raw honey, and a wide variety of Vermont maple products.

Beer, Cider, and Wine

The beverage program features beer and cider from Mount Holly Beer, a local microbrewery operated by a family member of the store’s owners. The selection includes modern hazy IPAs, single-origin lagers, and handcrafted ciders—the latter of which are produced on-site. The wine selection focuses on organic and sustainably produced varieties from Italy, France, Austria, and Spain.

Cafe and Deli

The store includes a full-service cafe and deli offering:

  • Coffee: Freshly brewed coffee and espresso-based drinks with beans provided by Vermont Artisan Coffee.

  • Bakery: A rotating selection of locally sourced and house-made pastries.

  • Deli: A menu of hot and cold sandwiches available for both breakfast and lunch.
